Among the industrial facilities, the 1st degree award for year 2020 was given to a project carried out by METROLOG Sp. z o.o., member of the Elevion Group, for constructing the cogeneration system.
The first cogeneration installation in Poland to recover heat from waste water was constructed in Szlachęcin.
The jury appreciated, among others, the innovative nature of the project that recovers heat from wastewater and uses solutions supporting the idea of decarbonisation, a radical reduction of dust and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as the diversification of energy sources.
