Renovation of the main stand of the Merck Stadium

Challenge

EAB Elektroanlagenbau is the executing company for electrical work in the Merck Stadium in Darmstadt 98 and a business partner, maintaining good relations with the club. EAB was commissioned to carry out the electrical installation for SV Darmstadt 98 Stadion GmbH for the new construction of the main stand, on the site of the "old" main stand, as part of the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The new construction of the main stand includes the roofing and a 4-story functional building plus a basement with areas for sports, press, recreation rooms for spectators (boxes and business club), security authorities and stadium operators for the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The building is used for home match days of SV Darmstadt and for events organized by the stadium operator. SV Darmstadt 98 has been playing its home matches at the Böllenfalltorstadion since 1921.

Solution

EAB carried out many necessary services such as the fire alarm system, safety lighting, low-voltage installation systems, and building skin distributions AV / SV.
